Doug Eichner Injury Update

Doug Eichner the five-time WORCS ATV Pro Champion was involved in a very nasty practice crash on Friday at Glen Helen. Doug apparently got mixed up and took a turn backwards on the course where he and fellow ATV racer John Natalie collided on the front table top. While John Natalie was thrown off and suffered multiple broken ribs, Doug took the majority of the damage. Doug suffered multiple broken ribs, a collapsed lung, a few major facial lacerations, and a severely broken arm/wrist which required over six hours of surgery on Saturday. John Natalie was able to re-focus and actually rode Sunday in the Pro race to a 5th overall. Doug meanwhile was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in San Bernardino, Ca where he is recovering in ICU. At this time, I ask everyone to keep the Eichner family in their prayers as he is slowly recovering from this horrific accident.

Doug has been released and is recovering at home.
