Thor Mega Series Race at Muddy Creek

Blountville, TN - PARTS UNLIMITED has a history rich in racing and over the years has helped riders win hundreds of championships, amateur and pro. Round number 13 or the 2009 THOR MEGA Series presented by DUNLOP comes to Muddy Creek Raceway September 12-13.

This  fall event is always a special event and is one of the bigger events of the year. This year the weekend will feature the THOR Luau. A FREE supper and music will be provided for everyone. The PARTS UNLIMITED semi will be here as well as the FMF semi.

All this is in addition to the championship racing that will be going on. Riders from 10 states will be on hand providing exciting racing in 39 different classes. Cameron Stone is leading the points in the 250 Pro class over Kevin Walker. Walker is leading the points in the 450 Pro class over Brad Modjewski.

This weekend will include a round of the ATV REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP racing on Saturday which will have 14 classes of ATV racing. There will be NO ATVs RACING on SUNDAY. For this event the Saturday bike practice will start at 8:30am. The event will pay factory $$ contingency by Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, & Yamaha.

About the MEGA SERIES:
The THOR UNITED STATES MEGA Series presented by DUNLOP is a 16 race motocross series that runs in Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. The AMA sanctioned series starts the first of March and runs through the middle of October. The series offers 40 different classes of racing, 4 year old pee wees, to beginner classes, to 50 + senior men, to the pros.

Victory Sports produces motorcycle and ATV racing events in Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Georgia, & Alabama. Events include the THOR United States Mega Series, the PARTS UNLIMITED Carolina Ultra Series, the Southern All-Stars MX Tour presented by DUNLOP, the FMF INDOOR MX Winter Series, the DUNLOP Hot Summer Nights SX Series, the ATV Spring Nationals, the Bluegrass ATV Nationals, the ATV Southern Nationals, the KAWASAKI Tennessee State MX Championship, and the EXTREME Dirt Track ATV Nationals.
