MARCH 20, 2009 -- SAN DIEGO, CA -- Motorcycle racing fans have a rare chance to own sought-after gear, memorabilia and collectibles on-sale now on eBay. The auction has been live for 1-week and will continue until the final bid is taken.

"The racing community has proven again that they have big hearts by offering their racing equipment including jerseys, helmets, gloves, goggles, and other personal items to help us cure CF," said Broc Glover, an AMA Hall of Fame motocross champ who is the driving force behind the effort. "100% of the proceeds go to the CF research and hopefully we'll find a cure for the deadly disease that my 7-year-old son Dayne suffers from. In 2008 we were able to raise a bunch of money and my family and I are praying that we'll raise even more this time around.

Glover also made it clear that he personally retrieved most of the items and he wants to assure bidders of the high level of authenticity and value.

"Nearly every item was worn, used and raced in perhaps at an an AMA Supercross or AMA Roadrace or it has some other significant history. These are very special, very collectible items that most people never have the ability to purchase and own."
