RC Finishes 8th at Fontana

In his second-career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race held at Fontana Speedway today, Ricky Carmichael finished an impressive eighth in his Monster Energy Chevrolet. After the race, when asked about the biggest positive from today, RC, who started the race third behind Kyle Busch and Johnny Benson, said, "Just finishing the race, no doubt! I've raced for Kevin [Harvick] three times before this and never finished a race. I just can't say enough for Monster Energy Chevrolet. Man, that was awesome. I learned so much and kept my nose clean. I messed up in a pit stop and we lost some position--I thought I had a right front go down, but it's just awesome to finish."
