DMXS Tonight
February 18, 2009, 8:48pm
Atlanta-based DMXS Radio always looks forward to this weekend in late February. We have the entire industry come to our town and host two other great events while they’re here. We kick things off right every year with our infamous Red Bull / DMXS Atlanta SX Pre Party on Friday night, and bookend the weekend with our annual charity Ride4AT at Bremen Race Park. So, please make plans on attending those events along with the supercross to complete the perfect Atlanta trifecta.
Our Red Bull / DMXS Pre Party will be held at DOOR44 in midtown Atlanta on February 20, and you can check out www.Door44Atlanta.com for directions and more info. And this is our sixth year holding the Ride4AT charity event so if you are in town make sure to come out for a day of riding, auctions, and pro rider autographs on the Sunday following the supercross. You can find our more info at www.Ride4AT.com
SPEED’s Jeff Emig has the best seat in the house every weekend and is always up for some more bench-racing. We will pick his brain for the things he doesn’t have time to discuss on air.
Star Racing’s Matt Lemoine had everyone at Houston talking about his speed and was one of the favorites throughout the night, but things didn’t go the way that he had planned. Matt will catch us up on everything as we head to round two this weekend in Atlanta.
Factory Suzuki's Michael Byrne has had his share of injuries and setbacks over the last few years, but Byrner showed up at San Diego ready to go. We hope that is a good sign of things to come and will have our neighbor on to talk about his return.
Monster Energy’s Tucker Hibbert is the GOAT of snowmobiling and is kicking ass and taking names in Snocross again this year along with another gold medal at the X-Games. Tucker wrapped up his Snocross season undefeated in both heat races and main events, but the likeable Minnesotan is looking to push his limits on the dirt now too. He is putting something together for motocross and maybe even a few rounds of the East coast supercross if that works out. This kid has a ton of heart and we love to see him back on the gate as soon as possible.
Motoendurance.net’s Robb Beams will be on to discuss the latest advancements to his program and update us on his new riding facility. Our listeners love his training insight and advice so make sure to tune in for his interview.
We have followed Star Racing’s Darryn Durham throughout his amateur career and there is not a nicer kid or family in the pits. We were excited for his debut at Houston and will see what his expectations are coming into Atlanta.
Scott’s Bevo Forte. Enough said!
