AXO Signs WMA and X Games Star Sherri Cruse

Santa Clarita, CA - AXO America is pleased to announce the addition of WMA Star, X Games Silver Medalist, and former WORCS Women’s Pro Champion - Sherri Cruse to the 2009 AXO team roster.
19-year-old Cruse, really made her mark in women’s pro racing last season with a WMA national win at Thunder Valley, Lakewood, CO and with her silver medal performance at the first ever women’s Moto X race at the ESPN X Games, which aired live on ABC. Sherri will be racing for AXO in 2009 at the top women’s professional motocross and off-road events including the WMA Cup, the eight-stop AMA/WMA National Motocross Championship, the X Games, and select WORCS races.
“Women’s pro motocross has become very high profiled and highly competitive these days. It made great sense to add rising star Sherri Cruse to the AXO Family” said John Simanovich AXO’s Director of Motorsport “We look forward to her input on our product both for the needs of a hardcore rider and in the future for needs of women riders specifically.”
