Yamaha Announces 2008 Contingency for Loretta Lynn's
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (Jan. 2, 2008) – MX Sports, producer of the Air Nautiques/AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. announced today Yamaha Motor Corporation will offer $168,000 in its 2008 contingency program for the 2008 Loretta Lynn National Championships.
Yamaha ATV/Off Road coordinator, Donnie Luce, stated: “Yamaha is proud to continue to invest in the youth of motocross by offering contingency as well as supporting all Yamaha riders with Trackside support while at the premier Amateur event of the year.”
The 2008 qualifying season will commence with the (52) Area Qualifiers, beginning February 22 and concluding May 18. Step two of the qualifying process will be the (12) Regional Championships which will run from May 24 through June 22.
