  • DeCal Works Steps Up 2008 Privateer Support with MDK/WWR Program

Kingston, IL (January 2, 2008) – DeCal Works, a primary sponsor of the MDK/Wonder Warthog Racing team for 2008, has completed the design and decal kits of the team's bikes.

For 2008, DeCal Works is stepping up its support of Team MDK/Wonder Warthog Racing and will provide the team with all needed bikes backgrounds and decal kits, as well as apparel, throughout the season.

“Obviously for us, in sight of our endless effort in Amateur motocross and towards the better support of privateer riders, there is no better team to be associated with” said DeCal Works’ Ron Joynt.  “We’re proud and very excited to offer our support to all the riders on the team, throughout the season and beyond.”

“DeCal works has been a very strong believer and supporter of the Wonder warthog Racing program from day one’’ said WWR’s Scott Kandel. “We are proud and very grateful for the efforts and support Ron and all the team at DeCal Works are providing us. 2008 will be a good year for our team and for everyone involved in the program”

Wonder Warthog Racing (WWR) is a unique organization which was formed to help the under resourced privateers to race with non-traditional forms of support for their careers. The Wonder Warthog Foundation has distributed several hundred thousand dollars in resources since its inception and has been run as a completely volunteer effort, being supported by many of the top racers in the sport of motocross including Ricky Carmichael and James Stewart and companies like MDK, Smooth Industries and DeCal Works. WWR, who’s founders Scott Kandel and Steve Bauer won the Clear Channel Motorsports Humanitarian of the Year Award in 2004, is regarded by the promoters, governing bodies, riders, and fans as one of the most benevolent and charitable groups to ever help the sport.

About DeCal Works:

Founded in 1989 by Ron and Janeen Joynt, DeCal Works has been the industry leader in pre-printed backgrounds and custom graphics for over 18 years. With a passion for racing, DeCal Works has since its early days, focused all its attention in supporting amateur and privateers riders.
