  • Smooth Industries Unveils MDK/WWR Transporter

Newbury Park, CA.  Smooth Industries, a primary sponsor of the MDK/Wonder Warthog Racing (WWR) team for 2008, has completed the design and decal wrap of the team's transporter.

Smooth Industries, well known for their diverse catalog of Officially Licensed motocross-themed merchandise and apparel, utilized the talents of their award winning design team to develop a unique layout for the MDK/Wonder Warthog Racing transporter that captures all the elements of the MDK/WWR privateer support program.

Said Mike Koger, President and Founder of Smooth Industries, "We're excited to be associated with the Warthog program again this year.  Those guys are as passionate about the sport as we are, and we feel that supporting WWR's team of 14 privateers is a great way for us to help out the racers who really are the core of our sport."

In conjunction with the AMA Monster Energy Supercross Series, Smooth announces the launching of three new initiatives. 1) The development of the www.SupportYourSportmx.com website, which will allow race fans easy access to all of the industry's philanthropic organizations; 2) The release of the innovative Ride Smooth  line of apparel which will be available at www.SmoothIndustries.com; and 3) The creation of a 2008 line of MDK/WWR merchandise (www.WonderWarthogRacing.com). A percentage of all MDK/WWR merchandise sales are used to support the privateers through various WWR programs.

Smooth Industries, the Oceanside, California based company was started 8 years ago when former Motocross Action magazine editor, Mike Koger realized there was a void in rider merchandise. Replica youth pajamas featuring the same graphics as the rider gear worn by Jeremy McGrath and Travis Pastrana became the first product and has remained a staple item in the ever expanding line of Officially Licensed rider and team merchandise.

Categories of products now include apparel, bedding and bath, school and outdoor accessories with a special Vintage Collection soon to be released. Smooth Industries also has developed CUDBY, a line of products utilizing the amazing photos from top motocross photographer, Simon Cudby.
