2008 Monster Energy® Supercross Preview Show to Air on CBS Sports
AURORA (December 18, 2007) – CBS Sports will broadcast a one-hour preview show of the 2008 Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, Saturday, December 29 at 4:00p.m. EST.
During the off-season, CBS Sports visited the top supercross race teams and captured in-depth analysis of the up-coming Monster Energy® Supercross season, foreshadowing reigning AMA Supercross class champion James Stewart’s title defense against the world’s top racers. Included are behind-the-scenes interviews with key team members and riders, focusing on how each rider prepares for the night’s main event. The 2008 preview show will provide fans a comprehensive look at what the season has in store for them.

Looking at the stars of tomorrow, a variety of interviews with the Supercross Lites riders will be aired as their young careers begin to take shape. Defending regional Supercross Lites champions Ben Townley and Ryan Villopoto, who each won their first-ever supercross titles in ’07, talk about their title defense and who their biggest challengers are.

CBS Sports will broadcast nine hours of Monster Energy® Supercross in 2008, which will include seven races, the preview show on Saturday, December 29 at 4:00 p.m. EST and the recap show Sunday, May 4 at Noon EST.
