Boulder City Motocross Grand Opening
Boulder City Motocross had their opening VIP / PRESS days this weekend and the conditions and weather were just perfect. There are three tracks to choose from. The main track is very wide and long offering a multitude of lines, obstacles depending on line and different style jumps including a monster outdoor style double. The north track is a smaller Arenacross style layout with a nice set of whoops down the front straight and the east track looks to be a tamer vet style track. BCMX is now open to the public for practice starting this weekend (Dec. 21st.) from Friday-Sunday 10am-4pm. Organized motocross racing will start in April. The public Grand Opening is slated for the weekend of Dec.29th with riders like Jeremy McGrath expected to be present and other top guns. BCMX is located just 30 minutes from the Las Vegas strip. Take Hwy. 95 south toward Boulder City then exit on Highway 95 south Needles / Searchlight and go about 4 miles and when the highway splits to make a larger median make the first right as you can see the facility from the main road.
