Morgan Hill, CA - The 2008 Supercross Lites Series just got a shot in the arm with the addition of the new Shift Racing backed MDK KTM Lites Team.
Wearing the latest gear from Shift, the MDK KTM Lites Team goes into battle with a strong stable of young talent including Justin Brayton and Billy Laninovich on the West coast and Matt Goerke and Ryan Sipes on the East coast.
MDK has recently created a separate racing facility dedicated exclusively to the team in Murrieta, just a stone’s throw away from KTM’s very own racing headquarters and the combination of the two organizations has already produced some inspiring results during several pre-season races.
“MDK and KTM do things their own way, which made the team a natural fit with Shift”, said Shift Brand Manager Brett Nicholas. “The MDK KTM Lites Team is ready to mix it up on the track in 2008 and we’re excited to partner with such a young and progressive organization,” added Nicholas.
“I’ve always been a huge fan of the Shift brand,” said MDK Racing’s Director of Racing Operations and Team Manager Danny Paladino. “When we formed this team, I wanted to make sure we had the right image to go along with this new alliance between MDK and KTM, and Shift was at the top of my list. The style, support and professionalism they bring to the team are second to none and we’re looking forward to a great season of racing together.”
