Richie Owens Wins Elsinore GP

Chino, CA – November 16, 2007 – When Richie Owens made the move from motocross to off-road racing, he wasn't sure about how he would hold up in the grueling races. But this weekend's commanding Pro win in the famous Lake Elsinore Grand Prix shows what some committed training and a great bunch of sponsors can achieve.

Although this was Richie's first entry into the 100 mile race, he felt ready. "Yoshimura has been great and the Honda really went well for me," Owen's said after the race. "I got the holeshot and stayed in the lead. I kept my eye on the second place guy, but felt pretty good after about 4 laps. It was a lot of fun."

"Richie rode hard the whole race and deserved the win," Team manager Gary Jones said. "The Honda CRF450 is an awesome bike and all we really did was throw a pipe on it and go race. Richie did the rest and at the end of the day…a win."
