Chad Johnson Leads AMA AX on MDK Motors
Des Moines, IA - MDK Speed Equipment (MDK SE) powered by FMF motors propelled Tuf Racing's Chad Johnson and teammate Danny Smith into the first and third positions in the AMA AX series after two tough nights of racing in Des Moines.
On Friday night Danny Smith beat everyone through the first turn in the AX main and led the entire main before going down in the last corner via an aggressive pass. Danny got up to finish fourth while his team mate Chad Johnson took second place.
Saturday night brought more success with both riders coming on strong at the end of the AX main event. Chad Johnson took the win, with Danny Smith coming through the pack for second.
