  • Red Bull To Support FIM MXGP and MXoN Till 2010

FUNCHAL, 8 November 2007- After the incredible success of the Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations at Budds Creek on September 23, 2007 Red Bull, the world’s leading Energy Drink company, and Youthstream, the FIM Motocross World Championship and FIM Motocross of Nations commercial rights holder, have reached a further agreement for the next three years.

Red Bull, which is already supporting the KTM Factory Team, will be the main sponsor and the official energy drink of the FIM Motocross World Championship for 2008, 2009 and 2010.

The 2008 Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations will be once again supported by the Austrian Company, founded in 1987 by Dietrich Mateschitz, which will be the Title Sponsor of the event. The 2008 Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations taking place in Northern Ireland aims at improving the magnificent results of Budds Creek, America, where the event came back after a 20 year absence thanks to Red Bull’s support.

Having been the series’ official energy drink for the last two years, Red Bull has a strong liaison with the FIM Motocross World Championship and with Youthstream. The slogan “Red Bull vitalizes body and mind” is strictly connected to the extreme performances of the riders on the track; with each Grand Prix being held with a double-moto format, Red Bull helps the riders to recover quickly.

Youthstream’s President, Mr. Giuseppe Luongo, stated: “I would like to thank Red Bull for believing in the potential of Motocross and for associating their brand with our sport. We believe that with Red Bull, the FIM Motocross World Championship will continue to grow, become more professional and attract more and more fans.”
