Goat Pulls out of Elsinore and Plugs into Morongo

  • Goat Pulls out of Elsinore and Plugs into Morongo

October 17, 2007 - Lake Elsinore, CA - Despite canceling his 2007 Elsinore Grand Prix, event promoter Goat Breker still has every intention of attending a race that same weekend of November 9-11, by lending support to his longtime friend and fellow race promoter, Troy Lee.

"I always gave 110% as a racer and I approached race promotion the same way," said Breker, a former pro motocross racer. "I've made sure the Elsinore GP was a fantastic experience for racers and fans, but it looks like my event will not happen this year. So I'm gonna do everything I can to help my friend Troy put on the best supermoto race the country has ever seen at Morongo."

"I'm blessed to have the friendship and support of Goat Breker. You could fill a book with his racing and promoting knowledge," said Troy Lee, founder of Troy Lee Designs and promoter of Supermoto Mayhem at the Morongo. "I love the Elsinore GP and I'm sorry that it's not going to take place this year, but I have to admit that I am so pleased to have Goat's backing for our Morongo event."

"It's also good news that the fans won't have to choose between attending two exciting races on the same weekend," added Lee.

Troy Lee's "Supermoto Mayhem at the Morongo" is Southern California's last major motorcycle event of the year and a must-attend for race fans of all ages. The final round of the 2007 AMA Pro Supermoto series will take place on Saturday, November 10, 2007, with the championship final occurring the next day on Sunday, November 11th. Preceding the weekend pro doubleheader, a promoter practice will kick things off on Thursday, November 8th, with a complete amateur race day on Friday, November 9th. Further details about the event, including plenty of photos and video, can be found at www.supermotomayhem.com.

Ticket prices for "Supermoto Mayhem at the Morongo" are more than reasonable for a full weekend of competition among the world's fastest racers. 3-day weekend passes are just $40 for adults and $10 for kids (4-14). Tickets can be purchased at the gate or in advance online at www.troyleedesigns.com.

SUPERMOTO STREET RIDERS: GET IN FOR HALF-PRICE Ride your street-legal supermoto bike to the race, you'll get HALF OFF your ticket price, plus VIP parking. Visit www.troyleedesigns.com for more details about this and other race weekend promotions!
