Kyle Tobin to Race German SX Races
2007 Australian Rookie of the Year, Kyle Tobin, has been invited to participate in select German Supercross races as part of Sturm Racing Germany. Tobin will also be joined with Jacob Saylor to take on Europe’s best as well as other invited racers from around the world.
Sturm Racing will be competing at the Stuttgart and Chemnitz Supercross events in Germany, plus the UEM SX Series 2007 in Genova, Italy and then finishing up at the grand finale of the German Supercross Season, the Dortmund ADAC Supercross, where the weekend’s overall winner in SX1 traditionally receives a new Toyota vehicle. The SX1 division was won last year by American Josh Demuth followed closely by Pascal Leuret, on his Sturm Racing Kawasaki. Third overall was Pierre Alexander Renet, also mounted on a Sturm Racing Kawasaki.
Sturm Racing rider, Jeremy Tarroux earned the title of “Prince of Dortmund” last year by winning the SX2 division. American Supercross rookie, Ricky Renner, would earn a 3rd overall on his Sturm Racing machine.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to race for Sturm Racing, and their results prove that they are looking for the best and they are looking to win. I am proud to be invited as part of their team” stated an excited Kyle Tobin. "I would also like to express my thanks to a sponsor and personal friend Dave Kimmey of Engine Ice and Cycle Logic Products for all of his efforts in this transaction,” added Tobin
Kyle Tobin will represent the United States along with teammate and Jacob Saylor for Sturm Racing. The team will be based in Munich, Germany where all team riders will test, train and prepare for the German Supercross Season
Kyle Tobin resides in South Georgia, USA, but is presently in California exploring opportunities and offers to race the 2008 Season.
