This week's collection comes from Old S'Cool MX Restorations' Eric Johnson:

"Here is an original Rocket Rex Staten Saddleback 1978 YZ250E I restored in honor of the ironman. The before pic is how we found Rex's bike in a garage and the owner actually had the original DMV pink slip still unsigned by Rex! The finished product is as Rex used to set them up with the three-star system to boot! I've known Rex since 1969 and building this bike was a real treat! It has many NOS parts installed, the motor is stock as well as most of the chassis. Rex raced stock YZs with great success all over the country making them look like works bikes of which he did race some OW40s for Yamaha when teamed with Bob Hannah and Mike Bell. Rex took the win at the 1980 Daytona Supercross.
