The World is Watching!

Morgantown, WV -- Racer Productions, producers of the Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series, proudly announces the signing of a one-year deal with French-based Motors TV to televise the 2007 Can-Am GNCC Bike and ATV Shows in over 55 countries, commencing in January, 2008.

The 30 minute shows from each Bike and ATV event of the 13-round GNCC tour will air in homes across 55 different countries, including Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaïdjan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lettonia, Lichstenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands,  Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia & Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, Vatican, Wight Island, and others.

Gabi Kneip, the GNCC Media Rights Agent stationed in Germany, brokered the deal on behalf of GNCC Racing. "This is the second television broadcast agreement that we have been able to secure abroad for GNCC,” said Kneip. “Interest just keeps mounting for GNCC, and we are proud to be a part of this phenomenal growth world-wide.”

The Motors TV deal follows last month’s announcement of a television distribution arrangement with Fox Sports Australia agreement. Gneip’s team brokered that deal as well, bringing GNCC TV directly into the homes of 3.5 million Australian fans of the series. The Motors TV alliance will bring GNCC Racing to millions of more homes worldwide. The shows will be broadcast in the French, English, German, Greek, Serbian and Russian languages.

The 2007 Can-Am GNCC Series continues this weekend with the ITP Power Line Park GNCC in St. Clairsville, Ohio.  ATV’s race on Saturday, October 13th and bikes race on Sunday, October 14th.  For more information on the event go to gnccracing.com.

About GNCC Racing:
The Can-Am Grand National Cross Country series is America’s premier off-road racing series. The 13-round championship series is produced exclusively by Racer Productions since 1973.  Cross country racing is one of the most physically demanding sports in the world. The nearly three-hour long GNCC races lead as many as 1,800 riders through tracks ranging from eight to twelve miles in length. GNCC Racing airs weekly television shows on the Versus network every Saturday at 3 PM and Thursday at 4 PM. With varied terrain including hills, woods, mud, dirt, rocks and motocross sections, GNCC events are tests of both survival and speed. GNCC featured sponsors include BRP Can-Am, Parts Unlimited, Moose, Maxxis, Pirelli, Wiseco, Acerbis, Elka, Geico, Klotz, FMF, ITP and Weekend Warrior, and riders compete for over $3 million in series prizes and contingency money.
