  • Four Winds International Unveils Hurricane Class A Toy Hauler

Elkhart, Indiana—Four Winds International has introduced a new Class A Hurricane sport recreation vehicle to its 2008 line-up. Model 34Y combines all the comforts of Class A motorhome in front with a roomy garage area in back.

“This model was developed to meet the market demand for Class A toy haulers at a value-based price point,” said Scott Jacobson, National Sales Manager, Four Winds International. “The 34Y is perfect for transporting small on and off-road vehicles safely and securely.”

Model 34Y is available on a Ford chassis with a 6.8-liter Triton engine or Workhorse chassis with an 8.1-liter Vortec engine. A 5,000-lb. trailer hitch is standard on either chassis. The spacious 96" x 120" cargo area features a rubber shop floor, white laminate overhead cabinets and D-ring tie downs. One person can operate the drop-down ramp door that opens and closes quickly and easily. The ramp has a non-skid surface for added safety.

The garage area is separated from the living area with a sealed door for added safety and comfort. The living area features a fully equipped galley, bathroom and sleeping areas. The Hurricane has three interior color schemes with a choice of Golden Maple, Cinnamon Maple or Cherry cabinetry. It also has one exterior standard graphics package and two optional graphics/partial paint exterior packages.

Standard features include a one-piece fiberglass front cap, residential style linoleum and day/night shades throughout, 20" television in front overhead, generator start switch on dash and 50-amp service. The galley features a convection microwave with gas range top, double door refrigerator, pantry and flip-up countertop extension.

Optional features include Infiniss™ Leather driver and passenger captain’s chairs, home theater system with DVD player, dual pane windows, slick fiberglass exterior and rear exterior spotlights. Popular entertainment features include an outside entertainment center with 32" LCD television and speakers with an AM/FM radio, compact disc player and speakers in the garage area. A full 26" LCD television in the front overhead is also available as an option.

Several options are available in the garage area including a 19" LCD television, rear cargo screen two wheel chocks and two jacknife sofas. A queen-size electric drop-down bed in the cargo area provides added sleeping accommodations. The bed is easily operated with an electric switch so it can be lowered for use, and raised when traveling.
