We just finished up our first season of the Racer X/Toyota Power Rankings, and all said and done, our pollsters have a Lites rider on top. Ryan Villopoto, our recently crowned AMA Motocross Lites champion, narrowly edged out our newly crowned AMA Motocross champion, Grant Langston. They both received the same number of first-place votes, but RV took the overall position by a very slim margin--one point! New Zealand's Ben Townley rounds out the top three, followed by Mike Alessi and Ricky Carmichael. Team Yamaha's Broc Hepler squeezed into the top 10 by improving one position this week. Barely holding on to a position in the top 25 is Honda teammates Davi Millsaps and Tommy Hahn, who sit 24th and 25th.
