We recently attended BermBenders Raceway in Mora, Minnesota on August 5th, 2007. During that race, an individual named Steve Klarm, who is from Forest Lake, Minnesota, was racing the 125 B class and had crashed on one of the hills on the track which caused a fatal injury. In light of this tragedy, Kurt Caswell/track owner of BermBenders Raceway in Mora, Minnesota, has named the next race held at his track on September 9th as the "Steve Klar Memorial Race" which will include an auction on Saturday, September 8th, 2007 as part of the fundraising effort to establish a Trust Fund for the benefit of Steve Klar's daughter, Macy who is 6 years old.
We are asking any vendors who are providers to the sport of motocross to consider a donation of their product(s) for this event which will be included in the fundraiser auction on September 8th. This link describes the upcoming fundraising event at BermBenders Raceway:
