Ryan Dungey Out For Six Weeks

Looks like Makita Suzuki's rookie sensation Ryan Dungey will miss the rest of the AMA Toyota Motocross Championships presented by FMF after breaking his clavicle during practice on Saturday at Steel City. The 17-year-old Dungey is visiting his doctor in Minneapolis today and should know more about the status later this week, but the early prognosis is that he will need a plate inserted to help repair the injury, and the recovery time for that is six weeks. With just three rounds left in the championship, Dungey will not return this summer. As for his off-season schedule, that is still up in the air.
