Eric Sorby’s Management announced today that he is currently pursuing a new ride for 2008, in recent negotiations with Team Troy Lee in a proposed effort to compete in the Supercross Class has ceased. Verbal agreements have led into a dead end and no contract therefore Eric is back in the hunt for a good solid team with good support to allow his talents to be exploited in the best possible way.
“I am very focused on the 2008 Supercross Season, I have recently moved back to Southern California for the TLD Team but now changes have left me in pursuit of a new place to call my Team, Troy Lee has a great program and unfortunately things are not ready for the 450 class over there, they are focused on the West Coast Lites Class and I wish them the best of Luck, Troy and Company are first class with wonderful people I’ve come to know. My daily training regiment is remaining the same; I am currently training for Supercross with my sites on the US Open in Las Vegas, and also still assisting and will continue working with TLD in their SuperMoto efforts for 2007.
In 2007, a successful and healthy finish in the World Supercross Series has Eric’s focus and ambition to achieve that much more in 2008; he is confident, and ready for the upcoming season.
