Josh Coppins Out For Northern Ireland GP

Adding more tension to the World MX1 championship is the fact that current MX1 points leader Josh Coppins will not race the Grand Prix of Northern Ireland this upcoming weekend. With a 43-point lead and the fact that Steve Ramon is also suffering from a hand injury, as well as Seb Pourcel picking up an injury in the French championship last weekend, Coppins is looking at heading to England in a weeks time with the championship lead still in tact (although probably only a handful of points). What this does mean is that the championship is wide open.
