Cypress California, July 30, 2007 - Yamaha Motor Corporation., USA is proud to announce our record-breaking 2008 Contingency program. Supporting our loyal YZ/WR owners with over $12 Million dollars in available contingency is just our small way of saying thank you.
Since 2006 we have raised our contingency program by over $3.3 million. The largest portion of that has been in amateur motocross, which has seen an increase of over $1.4 million in the last two years.
In an effort to have as many YZ/WR owners eligible for contingency as possible almost all racing disciplines are supported, including Supercross, Motocross, Dirt-Track, Off-Road and SuperMoto.
At Yamaha we are always searching for new series to support and for 2008 we have added four additional amateur motocross series to our roster.
Best of all we’re announcing our new program just as the 2008 models are rolling into dealerships, so you’ll have even more time to earn contingency on your shiny new Yamaha.
