Pole Position Raceway Now Open in Murrieta
P2R Expands in Southern California with 3rd Indoor Go-Kart Track
Pole Position Raceway in Murrieta, California is now open. The all-new state-of-the-art indoor go kart track is located off I-15 between Murrieta Hot Springs Road and Winchester Road, and features the same adrenaline rush that made the original Pole Position Raceway in Corona such a huge success.
“Indoor karting has really taken off in the last two years,” said co-founder and CEO Jason Williams. “Electric technology is the driving force behind this phenomenon and customers are blown away at the level of performance achieved by our karts. You won’t find any faster or more evenly matched karts anywhere around the world, and we’re really proud of that fact.”
“This area is loaded with all sorts of motorsport enthusiasts who want another place to have fun,” said co-founder and president Ken Faught. “You have motorcycle racers, off-road truck racers, and families who love to go to the desert to drive sand rails or to the river to play in performance boats. Motorsports are a big part of the southern California lifestyle and Murrieta is the perfect place for our third indoor karting center.”
Those involved with Pole Position Raceway also includes AMA Supercross Champs Jeremy McGrath and Chad Reed, 2004 NASCAR Champ Kurt Busch, X-Games Gold Medalist Mike Metzger, Freestyle Legend Kenny Bartram, Hillclimb World Champs Kerry and Robie Peterson, off-road legends Randy Hawkins, Barry Hawk and Dick Burleson,, F.I.M Motocross World Champs Greg Albertyn and Grant Langston, among others.
Pole Position Raceway in Murrieta opened July 30 and another track in Las Vegas is expected to open later this year. For more information be sure to check out www.racep2r.com or call 951/461-1600.
