Murrieta Pole Position Raceway Opens Monday
Pole Position Raceway comes to Murrieta
Indoor kart racing is quickly becoming one of the fastest-growing forms of recreation in the United States. That’s what has prompted several key people from the racing industry to create Pole Position Raceway which originated in Corona, California in 2005. Now, the company is opening its third facility, with an all-new indoor go kart track located in Murrieta off I-15 near Murrieta Hot Springs Road. The new Southern California facility also includes all sorts of racing memorabilia, video games, concessions and a V.I.P. room.
“This is the ultimate hands-on racing experience,” said co-founder Jason Williams, CEO. “Aside from those who just show up and race in our arrive and drive races, we will offer a wide variety of programs including corporate team building events, birthday parties, group races and more.”
“This is a track for racers by racers, and anyone can join in on the action,” said co-founder Ken Faught. “We have high-performance electric karts that have twice the horsepower of the karts found at most facilities around the country. At 45mph these are certainly not the karts you remember driving as a kid. They accelerate harder, are more evenly matched, and provide the closest racing found anywhere in the state.”
Those involved with Pole Position Raceway also include Seven-time AMA Supercross Champs Jeremy McGrath and Chad Reed, 2004 NASCAR Champ Kurt Busch, X-Games Gold Medalist Mike Metzger, Freestyle hero Kenny Bartram, off-road legends Randy Hawkins, Steve Hatch, Barry Hawk and Dick Burleson,, F.I.M Motocross World Champs Greg Albertyn and Grant Langston, among others.
The facility opens July 30 and it’s located at 41810 McAlby, Ct., Murriea, CA 92562. For more information be sure to check out www.racep2r.com or call 951/461-1600.
