No Fear Moto-X America Tour Heads to Virginia

  • No Fear Moto-X America Tour Heads to Virginia

The third stop of the inaugural No Fear Moto X America Tour took place the weekend of July 14-15 at the picturesque, highly popular Albany MX Park in Albany Oregon. With sunny, 75-degree weather greeting the riders, Albany was in excellent condition, promoters Robby and Ryan Leach grooming the track to perfection for both days of racing. And the weather, combined with a national caliber racetrack (the Western 4-Stroke Motocross Nationals ran here in May) all added up to intense, super competitive racing in virtually every classification, with 238 entries filling the starting gate all weekend long. In fact, according to No Fear Moto X Tour organizer and promoter Jeff Cooper, the Albany event provided, “Without a doubt, the best racing thus far in 2007 No Fear Moto-X Tour. And we were very pleased with the turnout. We had riders aged 3 to 73 competing!”

The next stop for The No Fear Moto X America will be at Birch Creek MX Park in Sutherlin, Virginia on September 8-9. Titled the “Fall Crusade”, the weekend will offer up holeshot prizes and awards for every class and riders can also expect great prizes and merchandise from No Fear, FMF, Factory Connection, Spy, OGIO, Ready Racing, Haro Bikes, So. Cal., Renthal, Etnies and Racer X.

The Birch Creek MX Park is etched out of the scenic hills of Pittsylvania Count, Virginia and features a 1.75-mile outdoor motocross track and an ATV National track. The technically challenging motocross track winds up, down and around the hilly terrain, with plenty of off-camber turns, tabletop jumps and an inverted whoop section called the “snake pit.” The track is amongst the best in the nation having hosted such events as the AMA US Eastern Spring and Grand Championship Series. Loretta Lynn Qualifier, US Mega Series. Pro Fall Classic Series, Four Stroke Nationals and ATVA Motocross GNC Nationals.

Online registration is now available and is encouraged as gate pick is based on order of sign-up.
