Monster Energy Kawasaki Motocross Practice Update: Red Bud

Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider Ryan Villopoto posted the fastest lap time in the AMA Motocross Lites class at Red Bud track N Trail in Buchanan, Mich.

Villopoto secured the fastest time with a 2:35.113. Teammate Ben Townley was not too far behind posting the fourth fastest in the first practice with a 2:36.123.  Unfortunately, shortly before the second practice, Townley began having severe stomach pains and headed to the hospital for evaluation. 

In the AMA Motocross division, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Timmy Ferry set the third fastest lap time with a 2:35.141. Teammate James Stewart, once again, elected to sit out today’s as he is one of the top-ten seated riders for tomorrow’s qualifying session.  

The Red Bud Monster Energy/Kawasaki National tomorrow in Buchanan is the second round of the Monster Energy Kawasaki Triple Crown series.
