  • No Fear Moto X America Tour - Albany

Having already made two successful stop at Barona Oaks Raceway in Ramona, California and Broome-Tioga in Binghamton, New York, The No Fear Moto X America Tour is now set to put stakes in the ground at Albany Motorsports Park in Albany, Oregon the weekend of July 14-15, 2007.

Located less than an hour’s drive from Portland, Oregon, the Albany Motorsports Park is a picturesque, mile-long motocross circuit that is both highly popular and highly regarded by the Pacific Northwest motocross community. With is eclectic mix of double jumps, triple jumps, tabletop jumps and loamy sweeper turns, the track is compatible for riders of all ages and skill sets. Moreover, the Albany Motorsports Park is extremely fan friendly as 100% of the track is accessible via well-placed and positioned catwalks and tunnels.

“I was at the Pac West National that was held at Albany last weekend,” says No Fear Moto X Tour promoter and organizer Jeff Cooper of the rapidly approaching No Fear Moto X Tour “Red, White & Bruised” stop set for Albany Motorsports Park. “All the riders and families that were on-hand at the Pac West National were excited about having the No Fear Tour at their home track. There was a lot of love being shown about the Tour coming there.

“The track was in excellent condition and will definitely be fun and safe for all riders,” added Cooper. “It’ll be a perfect track for our first timer classes, as well. The local pro riders up there are very fast and excited to do battle for the 150% Pro Pay back purse. Robby and Ryan Leach take a lot of pride in their facility and are very excited to have a stop of the No Fear Moto X Tour coming to Albany Motorsports Park. "They know they have a great facility that will be complimented by a top notch event.

“I should also mention that Quad races will be part of the “Red, White & Bruised” event at Albany. At the first two stops of the No Fear Moto X America Tour, there were so many Quad riders that wanted to race and participate that we decided to add Quad classes to the Moto X America Tour. So with that, there will be a number of Quad classes welcoming riders of all levels at Albany.

The No Fear Moto X America Tour is a unique racing property in that its primary premise is to promote grass roots racing and foster family fun by featuring racing classifications for riders of all ages and of all skill levels. The Tour also boats several  "first timer" classes to allow inexperienced riders a chance to experience the excitement racing in a safe and relaxed environment. All in all, the No Fear Moto X America Tour “Red, White & Bruised” event will host 34 classes (seven Pee Wee classes; four 65cc classes; seven 85cc classes; nine Big Bike classes; and seven Veteran classes. Each class will race moto one on Saturday and the second moto on Sunday. Moreover, there will be 85cc and Under and 125cc and Over team Races). Camping will be available (and encouraged) at the Albany venue as contests, games, giveaways and numerous forms of entertainment — a barbeque, tug-of-war contest (for various age groups), talent show and bike-loading contest are planned for Saturday evening.

The No Fear Moto X America offers Holeshot prizes and awards for every class and riders can also expect great prizes and merchandise at “Red, White & Bruised” from No Fear, FMF, Factory Connection, Spy, OGIO, Haro Bikes, So. Cal., Renthal, Etnies and Racer X to name but a few. Online registration is encouraged as gate pick is based on order of sign-up. Race day registration will also be available.
