Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Satchwell and Bash Finish Top-Five at Budds Creek
BUDDS CREEK, Md. (June 16, 2007) – Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green’s Tania Satchwell and Elizabeth Bash earned top-five finishes at the third round of the Womens Motocross Association Championship presented by Kawasaki at Budds Creek Motocross Park.

“I almost got the holeshot in the first moto and then I chased Jessica for a couple laps,” said Satchwell. “But because I wasn’t doing a big uphill double she passed me. After that I knew I had to just ride smart and smooth. I just rode my own race and finished in third.”
In the second moto, she was not as fortunate on the start, but salvaged a seventh place finish which earned her fourth overall for the weekend (3-7).
“I was really hoping for a podium today, but I got a bad start (in the second moto) and I just couldn’t make up time,” said Satchwell.
After a fourth place finish at Hangtown, Bash came to Budds Creek looking to remain consistent and in the chase for the points lead. She secured a seventh place finish in the first moto and bounced back with a fourth-place finish in moto two to earn fifth overall.
The Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green riders will be at the fourth round of the WMA in Lakewood, Co., starting July 21.
