Evolution Fitness’ Featured Exercise: Squatted Rows on Boso Ball
Each month Charles Dao, of Evolution Fitness in Murrieta, CA, features a new exercise that he has specifically chosen for the MX athlete. The first four exercises were the Jab-and-Pull, the Walking Lunge with Rotation, Single Leg Cross-Overs, and the Medicine Ball Hip Toss. Since this month on Virtual Trainer has been dedicated to rowing, Charles came up with a variation to the common cable row by adding an unstable dynamic with the use of a Bosu ball. The exercise, aptly named Squatted Rows on a Bosu Ball, is great for developing core and upper back strength while incorporating balance and leg endurance.
