As soon as the production 2008 Kawasaki KLX450R arrived in the USA, DRD began putting it under duress during extensive off-road testing. After riding stock, the goal for DRD was to improve throttle response, power delivery, and reduce weight.
The new DRD system greatly enhances an adequate stock system with improved throttle response, increased mid-to-top end power delivery, and better over-rev.
