In moto two it was Makita Suzuki’s
Ryan Dungey getting to the holeshot line first, using a tight inside line to make the corner quicker and barely edging out Ben Townley,
Josh Grant and RV1. Dungey was a frontrunner all day long, earning third overall with a solid 3-3 performance in his first visit to the ‘Wick

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s
James Stewart got the jump off the
Southwick starting gate, beating his teammate,
Tim Ferry, and top privateer
Gavin Gracyk to the Moto-Tees Holeshot line, collecting $250 for his efforts. Stewart looked strong early in the moto, but succumbed to the hard charging
Ricky Carmichael, who would take the moto win.

RC carried his momentum to the start of the second moto, earning his first Moto-Tees holeshot of the 2007 season. He didn’t mess around this moto, as he checked out for another moto win, good for his 99th overall AMA Toyota Motocross Championship win of his career.
