  • Jayco® Signs As Title Sponsor of XXX Rhine Racing Series

Series is Affiliated with Champion Off Road Racing

MIDDLEBURY, Ind. —   JaycoÒ, Inc., manufacturer of America’s Most Liveable RVs™, has signed on as the title sponsor of the Championship Off Road Racing (CORR) XXX Rhino Racing Series, a racing series that focuses specifically on competition of utility terrain vehicles (UTVs).

Jayco’s title sponsorship of the seven-race series, stems from the company’s desire to support an up-and-coming off-road sport from its inception.

“The decision to support the XXX Rhino Racing Series was an easy one,” said Sid Johnson, director of marketing for Jayco. “We’re thrilled to lend our support to an off-road sport that is growing in popularity and we’d like to help bring awareness to UTV racing. The sponsorship is a perfect fit for Jayco, since our ZX line of toyhaulers is designed to haul large toys like UTVs.”

The Jayco-sponsored races will take place from April through Nov. 2007 in California and Nevada. About 20,000 attendees are expected to attend each event. Due to its recent surge in popularity, CORR decided in 2007 to add UTV racing to its other popular racing divisions including Pro Lite™, Pro 2™ and Pro 4™.

“UTV Racing has been growing in popularity among off road enthusiasts, so we see this as an exciting new venture for CORR,” said Cissy Baldwin, COO of CORR.

UTVs are side by side utility vehicles with 4x4 capabilities and long travel suspensions.  The single-cylinder vehicles have large jumping capabilities and reach speeds of about 60 miles per hour.
