  • MDK/Lucas Oil/Yamaha and WWR Place 5 Riders in the Mains

May 2, 2007, Newbury Park, CA. - In the team’s best showing to date, MDK/Lucas Oil/Yamaha and Wonder Warthog Racing’s (WWR) DeCal Works Hog Haven placed five riders in the main events at round 15 of the Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series, held at Qwest Stadium in Seattle, Washington.

The MDK/Lucas Oil/Yamaha team placed three riders in main events including Jacob Saylor, the team’s Supercross rider, and the Dana K/WWR Interns Chris Blose and Adam Chatfield.  Chatfield scored a team high of 11th place in the Lites main. All these riders wore their unique Warthog gear, designed by O’Neal Racing.

The DeCal Works/Hog Haven standout Ryan Grantom finished an outstanding 12th place in the Lites main while Lucas Oil supported WWR rider Kevin Johnson placed 17th in the Supercross class

With an impressive display of speed, all riders that made it to the main event qualified directly from their heat races.

“It was our best week all season long, with the team getting five riders to the main events and with outstanding finishes by Adam and Ryan”, said Scott Kandel, WWR Chief Altruistic Officer.  Chatfield’s strong ride in the main earned him the weekly “Barrnett Clutch Performance” Award.

The team has now had twelve different riders compete in 31 main events.

The next stop on the 2007 Hog Haven Tour will be Saturday, May 5th at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. Hog Haven apparel can be purchased at the LiveNation merchandise trailer in the pits or at www.SmoothIndustries.com. All WWR proceeds go towards funding their privateer support programs. Drop in to visit the entire team at www.WonderWarthogRacing.com
