Supersports Teams With AMA Supermoto Legend Chris Fillmore @ Detroit SX
Fillmore will discuss the upcoming Detroit Supermoto (July 8th) and announce the winners of the Supersports “Go XXX in Vegas” contest
WATERFORD, Mich., (April 18, 2007) – Supersports, Inc., a vibrant new Michigan-based extreme powersports dealership, will enlist the help of local AMA Supermoto Championship great Chris Fillmore (Oxford, Mich.) to talk about he upcoming Detroit Supermoto and announce the winners of the Supersports “Go XXX in Vegas” contest during the intermission of the Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series at Detroit’s Ford Field this Saturday (April 21st).
“Chris is a well-known racer through out the Michigan motocross circles, as well as being one of the top supermoto racers on the planet today,” said Tom Zielinski, President of Supersports. “We’re going to show some supermoto footage from our race last year at Waterford Hills Raceway, along with highlights from other AMA Supermoto Series tracks, and get the fans in attendance at the Detroit Supercross pumped about the upcoming supermoto series stop here in Detroit this July (8th).”
Also on the schedule for Supersports is Thursday’s (April 19th) Team Moto XXX autograph session at the shop and Friday’s running of the fourth annual Supersports Mini Moto Challenge, the fifth and final round of the Z-Sports Mini Supermoto Series. Held at Michigan’s premier indoor go-kart facility – Sterling Heights’ Kart 2 Kart – the Supersports Mini Moto Challenge will feature a host the region’s top motocross racers and industry VIPs and is open to the public for both racing and spectating.
