Thursday open house/Moto XXX autograph session at the Waterford shop and mini supermoto racing at Kart 2 Kart highlight pre-SX events in Detroit
WATERFORD, Mich., (April 17, 2007) – Supersports, Inc., a vibrant new Michigan-based extreme powersports dealership, will get things rolling early this week for Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series fans heading into the Motor City with an open house/autograph session with Team Moto XXX on Thursday at its Waterford headquarters and a mini supermoto race – open to competitors and fans alike – on Friday at Kart 2 Kart (Sterling Heights).
“The Detroit Supercross signals the start of the motocross season for us here in Michigan,” said Tom Zielinski, President of Supersports. “And this year it also marks the grand opening of our new Supersports headquarters – a true destination point for motocross enthusiasts from all over the region. We’re inviting everybody to stop by this Thursday, check out he new shop, meet and greet not only some Michigan motocross legends, but also hang out with Moto XXX’s Kyle Lewis and Josh Summey and tour the Asterisk Mobile Medical Unit.”
Also on the schedule for Supersports is Friday’s running of the fourth annual Supersports Mini Moto Challenge, the fifth and final round of the Z-Sports Mini Supermoto Series. Held at Michigan’s premier indoor go-kart facility – Sterling Heights’ Kart 2 Kart – the Supersports Mini Moto Challenge will feature a host the region’s top motocross racers and industry VIPs and is open to the public for both racing and spectating.
