This week's Racer X/Toyota Power Rankings are out with few changes at the top. James Stewart remains the #1 ranked rider, while the idle Ricky Carmichael continues to hold second ahead of Indy SX runner-up Chad Reed. Also, top 250F rider Ryan Villopoto is fourth, followed by Stewart's Monster Energy Kawasaki teammate Tim Ferry. The biggest surprise may be the fact that the top East Region riders continue to rise. Ben Townley is not the points leader, but he's tops among all of the East riders, moving up two spots this week to #6. (Conversely, Kevin Windham dropped two spots to eighth after his first-lap seizure in the RCA Dome.) Two-race winner Ryan Dungey is up five spots to ninth while Branden Jesseman jumped two spots to 15th. Meanwhile, series leader Ryan Morais holds steady at #11. The other big moves come from 450 class riders, as Grant Langston is up three more spots after another great effort, Davi Millsaps jumps up six spots, and Andrew Short enters the rankings for the first time at #24.
