CORRIDA DE MOTOS
The Red Bull X-Fighters are on tour in 2007 – Mexico City is the spectacular first stop. The world's best FMX riders will be assembling in Mexico City on the evening of March 23. Their goal: to relieve last year's winner Mat Rebeaud of his Red Bull X-Fighters crown in the world's greatest bullfighting arena - and to wow the 42,000-strong crowd with never-before-seen tricks at the kick-off event for the now four-event series.

The event to be seen in the largest bullring in the world is not the fight of the toreros, but the flight of the motoreros: The world’s best freestyle motocross riders showcase their breath-stealing tricks. On this night, the bulls get to go home early - leaving the arena to the motoreros to astonish their aficionados with an impressive battle against the laws of physics. The 42,000 fans have proven almost a match for the riders - at least in terms of stirring up a frenzy.

Last year the Mexican fans were treated to one of the most outstanding performances in the history of freestyle motocross. An electric Mat Rebeaud put favorite Travis Pastrana under so much pressure that Pastrana crashed heavily on a box jump in the final - paving the way for the Swiss rider's maiden victory.

It is the first time that four Red Bull X-Fighters are taking place in one year, and the first time that the world's greatest FMX riders will get to showcase their skills in entirely new locations. After the opening event in Mexico City, the newly-created series continues at Slane Castle near Dublin on May 26, while Moscow will play host to the Red Bull X-Fighters for the first time on June 30. The Red Bull X-Fighters 2007 tour comes to a climax with the final showdown in Madrid on July 27.

The rider list for the Red Bull X-Fighters Mexico City features Nate Adams (USA), Brian Deegan (USA), Gilmar Flores "Joaninha" (Brazil), Robbie Maddison (Australia), Johan Nungaray (Mexico), Mat Rebeaud (Switzerland), Ronnie Renner (USA), Eigo Sato (Japan), Dany Torres (Spain) and Gabriel Villegas (Chile).

The following riders are confirmed for all four events (subject to alterations/any unforeseen developments): Robbie Maddison, Mat Rebeaud, Ronnie Renner, Dany Torres, Eigo Sato. Travis Pastrana is confirmed to ride Red Bull X-Fighters Slane Castle, Moscow and Madrid. Nate Adams has confirmed to ride three stops as well.
