R2R Fast Guys Karting Championship Benefiting Doug Henry

Scottsdale , AZ - The Road 2 Recovery Foundation presents the Fast Guys Karting Championships at Fast Times Indoor Karting on Friday, March 23rd, before the Amp'd Mobile AMA Supercross Series in Indianapolis, IN. Proceeds from this year's event will be dedicated to Doug Henry, Graves/Yamaha Factory racer, multi-time motocross champion and X-game gold medalist.

Doug crashed in Florida while preparing for the upcoming Supermoto series. The crash left Doug with a broken back near the same location as the infamous Budds Creek crash in 1995. Doug underwent surgery to relieve pressure from his broken T12 vertebra. Doug has been transported to Shepherd Center in Georgia to begin his recovery. 

Join us for a great night of racing as the motocross community comes together to support one of the most loved guys to ever throw a leg over a motorcycle.

This year's event will hold a series of Grand Prix races that will put 8 drivers in heated battles over a 15 lap practice an 18 lap qualifier and an 18 lap race. The top finishers from each Grand Prix will compete in 2 mains. The "A" main will determine the "Fast Guy" while the "B" will allow for those extra bragging rights. Cost to race is only $100 per driver and all proceeds to benefit Doug Henry.

Open registration begins at 7:00 p.m. and runs until 9:00 p.m. with racing beginning with the first 8 to make up a grand prix race.
