Racer X has learned that the Rockstar Energy Suzuki rider crashed hard while practicing Monday at his friend
Chad Reed's private track in Florida. McFarlane, who was just coming back from another injury, wrenched his back pretty good and will likely have to take a few of races off. McFarlane is the second rider in two weeks to crash at Reed's house and sustain an injury. His San Manuel Indian Yamaha teammate
Nathan Ramsey went down last week with a broken wrist.
