Reports out of Florida late Sunday night has former three-time AMA Motocross Champion Doug Henry hospitalized with what appears to be another serious back injury after he crashed during practice for a Supermoto race in New Smyrna. Henry apparently hit oil or water that had just dropped on the track, causing his bike to slip out from under him. He was traveling at a high rate of speed, and the bike apparently slid after him into a wall. Henry was Life-Flighted from the racetrack and was scheduled for surgery this morning.
