The Maxxis MiniMoto SX is the largest mini bike race in the world starring the top SX racers on the planet. Riders like McGrath, Pingree, Cooper, Hofmaster, Costella, Browning, Blose and many more are on the roster to compete for their share of the $15,000 purse and the #1 AMA plate.
This year, for the first time, The Maxxis MiniMoto has opened up three Youth Classes specially designed for the under 18 year old riders. Blake Bagget, Drew Gosselaar and Will Hahn are already signed up... so you know there is going to be some GREAT bar-banging race action. Classes include a 10" and 12" rear wheel Open as well as a 12" rear wheel stock/mod. All three classes reward an AMA #1 plate.
Practice and Qualifying for the Youth Classes take place on Thursday, May 3. The top 20 riders from each class will advance to the Friday night show where they will race (along with the Adult Classes) in front of the crowd inside the Orleans Arena. The Maxxis MiniMotoSX boasts one of the only professionally groomed tracks in America specifically designed for Mini Bikes.
If you are under 18 and want to race one of the coolest races in America, you need to sign up now! Classes are limited so entry is based on a first come first serve basis. To sign up, go online to www.minimotosx.com to read the rules and fill out your entry.
