  • All American Firepolicemx KTM Race Report

Erv Braun Entertainment, Risk911.com, Team BCB, Trijicon, Miller Motorsports Park and Kingdom Apparel presented  round 6 of the All American Firepolicemx KTM Race Team Tour in San Diego, California.

Friday

This week we had the drive from Houston to San Diego.  We got a good parking spot and the weather was awesome.

Saturday

Saturday was great weather again and the track looked good.  Dennis Ewing joined Joe Oehlhof and Dennis Jonon under the rig. The crowds were great and we gave out over 500 posters of the team.  Several thousand other fans stopped by for autographs and to check out the sponsors.

PRACTICE

Practice times were in the mid 50’s and our guys were right on pace. Joe Oehlhof and Dennis Jonon both put in top 5 lap times in their practice to get on the board. Dennis Ewing was riding great on the new KTM and he improved by over 2 seconds from the first to second practice. Anthony Charette was still sick this week and we wish him well. The bikes were running great and they had lap times in the top 40 and qualified for the night show.  That makes 7 for 7 where all the guys have qualified for the show.

RACE

Joe Oehlhof got out of the gate up front.  It looked like he might pull the holeshot but he got squeezed out.  He rode a great race finishing one spot out of qualifying.  Dennis Ewing got a great start and was in 4th for a good portion of the race.  Dennis Jonon got a back of the pack start but rode great to finish in 10th.  The LCQ’s were all about the start.  The guys were a bit back and rode well but finished just out of qualifying spots.

Next week we head to Atlanta for round 8.  It is the first race for the East Coast lites and we have 4 new riders to represent the team. We also look forward to RXRPROTECT coming on board as a new sponsor. We look forward to new photos and a new report next week. We also want to thank Jake Kidd for supporting the team.  Once again thanks to all the awesome sponsors below for making the All American Firepolicemx KTM Supercross tour possible.

The All American Firepolicemx KTM team uses and recommends the following products:  KTM motorcycles, Oneal gear, Leo Vince Pipes, FMF pipes, Motorex oils, Renthal bars and chains, RXRprotect.com, Dunlop tires, K&N air filters, Universal, Crower Cams, Precision concepts suspensions, BCB Equipment Rentals, Wantta 1 tailgate products, Weapon MX products, Kingdomcrown.com, Risk racing stands, Lock Jaw, XS energy drinks and Zing graphics.
