All American Firepolicemx KTM Race Report

Erv Braun Entertainment, Risk911.com, Team BCB, Trijicon, Miller Motorsports Park and Kingdom Apparel presented round 6 of the All American Firepolicemx KTM Race Team Tour in Houston, Texas.

Friday

This week we had the drive from Anaheim to Houston so Greggo had to head out early. He picked up Rick Neagle from Wantta one tailgate products in Arizona and made the drive to get there for Friday.

Saturday

Saturday was a little chilly in Houston. Brad from risk911.com once again gave the safety speech to the KTM Jr racers. This is a great opportunity for the team and it gets the word out about helmet safety. The crowds were great and we had several stop by for autographs and to check out the sponsors.

PRACTICE

Practice went well for all the guys and they put down some great lap times. Joe Oehlhof and Dennis Jonon both put in top 5 lap times in their practice to get on the board. Anthony Charette was sick this week and we wish him well. The bikes were running great and they had lap times in the top 40 and qualified for the night show. That makes 6 for 6 where all the guys have qualified for the show.

RACE

Joe Oehlhof got out of the gate fast in his qualifier and also the LCQ but had problems before the first turn and had to work his way forward but didn't make it to the Supercross main event. Dennis Jonon was able to transfer out of his qualifier and rode well to finish 13th in the Lites main event. That moved Dennis from 21st in the points to 18th and kept him in the hunt for the East/West Shootout in Las Vegas on My 5th. Thirteenth is a best so far for Dennis
