Bell Golden Helmet & Alpinestars Silver Boot Awards
Wortham, Texas- The 7th Annual FMF/Honda of Houston AMA Texas Winter Series is drawing to a close at Lake Whitney MX Park, February 17-18, 2007. With $450,000 in factory and product contingency up for grabs through the four rounds of the series, the most talked about award is about to come to past. Through Round 3, the series has had 1729 entries from 20 different states and Canada.
The BELL GOLDEN HELMET and ALPINESTARS SILVER BOOT Awards are going to be decided at Whitney. These awards are for the rider with most accumulated points within the series. The BELL Award will have the top point rider given a one year contract with BELL Sports, Two (2) Free BELL Helmets of the riders choice, BELL Swag and trackside support at any event that BELL attends. The winner will also receive this unique, one-of-a-kind trophy to treasure for a life time. The trophy is a full size Moto 8 painted by Axcel Fast Graphics.

The ALPINESTARS SILVER BOOT Award will give the second place rider in accumulative points one (1) pair of boots from Alpinestars free.
Below is the list of riders with 100 points or more through Round 3 of the series. A rider can earn up to thirty (30) points per round, per class. A rider can ride as many classes as they are eligible to compete in to earn points.
