  • New WWR Website

January 31, 2007

Newbury Park, CA.  Setting an unprecedented standard for excellence, Wonder Warthog Racing (WWR) and MDK/Lucas Oil/Yamaha are rolling out a new website hosted and managed by MyMotoSpace.com.  The new site can be found at the same old address: www.WonderWarthogRacing.com

Fans and sponsors will love the user-friendly and highly interactive nature of the site, which allows them to communicate directly with their favorite riders; each of whom has created a personalized MyMotoSpace and MXResultz profile full of info and updated weekly. Features include real-time updating of race results, social networking functions, and even a donation module that allows fans and sponsors directly help out their favorite hard-working privateer!

The team portion of the site contains such features as summarized team results, a weekly podcast, dynamically updated photos, and several other applications.  Interested riders can apply for a spot in Hog Haven by using the online rider application system. Their mechanically-inclined pals can take their wrenching to the next level with the help of the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute’s (MMI) application. The MMI system is used for submitting requests to join the WWR mechanic’s Internship program.

For you collectors out there, they’ve included support for the weekly WWR Auction function.  All proceeds from the auctions go towards funding the 18+ riders in the DeCal Works/P-LoK Hog Haven -- the transportation, pit setup, and rider support system.  Superstars Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, Stefan Everts, David Vuillemin, Ivan Tedesco, Davi Millsaps, Tim Ferry, Josh Grant, Ryan Villopoto, Mike Alessi and others all support the Hog’s work with their generous and frequent contributions.

The next stop on the 2007 Hog Haven Tour will be Saturday, February 3rd at Anaheim Stadium.  Hog Haven apparel can be purchased at the LiveNation merchandise trailer in the pits or at www.smoothindustries.com. All WWR proceeds go towards funding their privateer support programs.

Drop in to visit the entire team at www.WonderWarthogRacing.com
