Do you remember when you got your first bike? For most of us, it’s one of the best days of our lives. This week we are going to do something different. A reader of ours, Duke Barwick, sent in this photo, and it is just bitchin‘! This is what riding dirt bikes is all about. Remember when you pulled your first wheelie and how pumped you felt? Well, we think Duke had a lot of fun on his Kawasaki that day - and check out his open-face helmet with those sunglasses! Let’s see what Duke had to say about his first dirt bike experience.
“This was my first dirt bike and wheelie. Growing up, my mom would never let me have a motorcycle. As you can see, she was probably right. Here I am at 32 years old with my 1973 Kawasaki Bighorn 350. Note the lack of safety gear! Especially note my Chuck Taylor All-Stars. I no longer have the bike, but I still have those Chuck Taylors. Man, I remember that day like it was yesterday.”
